38 workers at Karuma dam are nursing serious injuries following an accident in an under ground tunnel.
The incident occurred as a bus ferrying workers for night shift lost control when the car failed to break and hit the tunnel wall.
They were 38 people in the vehicle, 5 were badly injured and 20 got minor injuries while the rest did not sustain any injuries.
According to management of Uganda electricity distribution company there have not been any recorded fatalities and the victims have been taken to Gulu Independent Hospital for medical attention.
