Police has fired teargas in the process of evicting over 2000 residents at Mulusanja Village near Kyanja in Wakiso district.
Over 400 houses and other properties have been destroyed by goons that was hired by a one Merdard Kiconco who claims to be the owner of this land.
The operation which started in the morning has left one unidentified person dead by the bullets
The victims say they acquired the land legally but were shocked to get to know that the same land was sold to Merdard Kiconco to put up a factory in area.
The victims added that the government has noted helped them at all and wondering if this government still care for its citizens.
They say, the kind of eviction exhibited clearly indicates that the country has no president, but rather a person who cares about him self and his family.
Pupils at Excel Modern Nursery school were among the people who suffered tear gas .
