Several women across the country have demanded that the Government re-instate graduated tax in local governments.
The women mainly in local areas say the tax could help local governments at their own discretion handle key pressing needs in the communities and also directly finance local government operations.
This is according to a survey conducted by the Southern and Eastern Africa trade and negotiation institute -SEATINI Uganda.
According to the executive director SEATINI Jane Nalunga, the survey indicated that several men in rural areas have become irresponsible because of too much freedom.
