WBS journalist Andrew Lwanga who was assaulted by the former Old Kampala DPC Joram Mwesigye has rejected any out of court settlement unless Mwesigye tells the truth.
This is after Buganda Road Court Grade one magistrate Gladys Kamasanyu requested both parties to engage in reconciliation talks if there is a possibility to settle the matter. Mwesige who began his defense today denied assaulting Lwanga during a police operation last year. The case has been adjourned to the 5th of January 2017.
