Over 60 people from Buganda Kingdom have received their land titles on kingdom land in a campaign dubbed Kyapa Mungalo in a bid to strengthen their tenancy on land.
Speaking to the beneficiaries at Buganda Land Board offices in Ndejje Lufuuka Wakiso district,the area member of parliament Makindye Municipality Sempala Kigozi urged tenants in Kabaka`s Land not to be deceived by false propaganda on Kyapa mungalo intended to divert people's attention and grab their land.
He says many people who have embraced this campaign have gotten their land titles which have enabled them to develop their land through getting development loans in commercial banks.
Over 1000 people on Kabaka`s have already got their land titles through Buganda Land Board ever since Kyapa Mungalo campaign was launched by the Kingdom's premier Charles Peter Mayiga.
