Security has been heightened as FDC's Dr Kizza Besigye is expected to appear before Nakawa Magistrates court today.
Last month Chief Magistrate James Ereemye read that Besigye was charged with treason and remanded him to Luzira prison till 1st June.
The charges follow a video that made rounds on Ugandan social media of Kizza Besigye taking oath as the president of Uganda shortly before the president Museveni could swear in.
The other FDC officials who were present on Besigye's swearing in are also under investigation.
