Cancer institute warns public against extortionists

The Uganda cancer institute has warned the public against extortionists .The institute says treatment of Ugandans comprising of  radiotherapy, surgery and palliative care at the cancer institute are free of charge.

This follows a recent report from a whistle blower that exposed doctors who were extorting money from patients.

Christine Namulindwa the spokesperson of the cancer institute is how ever urging the general public  to seek & utilize the free services at no cost.
