The late elder Mayanja brother, Humphrey Mayanja, passed away on 30th /March/2024 after battling cancer for several months.
Humphrey who was a sibling to the country’s music stars namely Jose Chameleone, Weasel Manizo, and Pallaso returned to Uganda from the US last year “2023”.All along he had been under treatment and care of his family until his passing.
Amidst a somber atmosphere of mourning, on Wednesday 3rd/March /2024, hundreds of people gathered in Kalangaro Mityana to give him a final farewell as he was laid to rest.
The burial ceremony was attended by a multitude of Ugandan celebrities including Bebe Cool and his wife Zuena Kirema, and Spice Diana among others.
Tears mingled with fond laughter as stories were shared, painting a vivid picture of a life well-lived and a soul that touched countless hearts.
Unlike his brothers involved in entertainment, Humphrey, along with his brother Henry Kasozi and sister Josephine, was not part of the music industry.
