Kabale health workers are attending training.

Government Health care workers in Kabale district have turned up in big numbers at Kabale regional referral hospital to attend three day training on strengthening palliative care services through a campaign dubbed as hospital free pain initiative.

The training organized by Uganda Palliative Care Association and ministry of health aims at equipping health workers with best skills and knowledge to identified patients in pain and manages them.

According to Rose Kiwanuka, the country director Uganda palliative care association, through hospital free pain initiative campaign, they are targeting to train all health workers in all 14 regional referrals in an effort to extend palliative care services to patients suffering from life threatening illness.
