The local community in Katakwi district is worried about the increasing number of Gender based violence victims. This is blamed on the laxity in the law enforcement where victims of Gender based violence GBV are denied justice despite the presence of legal means.
Action Aid programs director in Katakwi Benjamin Tukei, says they are putting in place community structures to address increasing cases of GBV through sensitizing the population to de-campaign violence.
