Busoga Kingdom has unveiled the committee that will head all preparations for the forthcoming Busoga Royal wedding.
This committee is led by Engineer Patrick Batumbya chairman deputized by Martin Tibalira, KCCA Executive Director, Dr. Dorothy Kisaka is the special assignment on the committee.
Other Members on the committee including Hon.Minister Milly Babalanda, Hon Justine Lumumba who is in charge of media and entertainment, Dr Andrew Nayimnye, Mr Aggrey kibenge, Hajj osman Noor, Hajj swaibu kitezaala and omulangira Paul Panume.
The committee was launched by the First Deputy Prime Minister who also doubles as the minister for the East African community Rt Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga.
The Royal Wedding dubbed "Embage ya mwenemu" will take place on 18th November 2023 at Bugembe Cathedral, where His Royal Highness the Kyabazinga of Busoga William Gabula Nadiope the IV will wed the Inebantu Jovia Mutesi.
A general bank account has been also established in Centenary Bank for wedding contributions.
The committee says in addition to a bank account(3100095955), there is also a mobile money option.
