President Yoweri Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been sworn in as president of the republic of Uganda.
Museveni has just been sworn in by the chief justice of Uganda Bat Katurebe after being presented by the Electoral commission chairman Eng Badiru kigundu.
He has also signed the oath of allegiance and oath of the president after the swearing in .He has also been given the instruments of power that include the National flag,the constitution of the republic of Uganda and the court of Arms .
Yoweri Museveni is the 11th Uganda President since Uganda attained independence in 1962 and this swearing in marks his 5th term as president.
