National Medical Store has clarified that Kampala Capital City Authority-KCCA should not charge Ugandans for Yellow Fever vaccinations.

Ugandans are required to have Yellow  fever vaccination before travelling to some foreign countries and many have been paying 100,000 shillings to KCCA  get the jab and the Yellow fever card.

Dan Kimosho the spokesperson for National Medical Stores says KCCA should not charge Ugandans since the money used to pay for the vaccine was already appropriated under the Kiruddu healthy center budget.

He says it is wrong for KCCA to charge members of the public because the vaccine they are using was supplied to them using money obtained from an existing budget.
