No negotiations until our King is released; Hon Atkins Katusabe

Bukonzo West Member of Parliament  vows not to be apart of any negotiations until Government acts on their demands.

"We are not going to hold any talks until our King is released and until government gives accountability of the lives that were lost during the Kasese attacks" says Honarable Atkins.

In an interview on Saturday, the Kasese MP insisted that the talks with government would not make any sense if the Omusinga was absent. According to the legislator, he is a subordinate to the King and would not wish to do anything or attend any meetings with Government in the absence of the King.

He added that seeing how Police handled his King psychologically tortured him and he would like the King to be released with immediate effect.

Honarable Atkins also regrets what the people of Kasese went through and called upon them to stay calm because he did not believe in resolving issues forcefully.

During the Capital Gang show, the Member of Parliament said it was not true that all the weapons that have been paraded on social media and other media were found in the palace. He added that it was Government planting such things to justify their role in the attacks.
