Oaths should be amended and rewritten in local languages -Nadduli

The NRM Chairperson Buganda Region also out going Chairperson of Luweero district Hajji Abdul Nadduli says the Local government Act should be amended to include provisions that allow local Councilors to swear in local languages and conduct council sessions in vernacular.
Naduli was speaking to Capital radio after some councilors requested to swear in vernacular after some of them failed to read their oaths of allegiance in English saying it’s a foreign language. Naduli emphasizes the need to discuss in local languages saying this will improve service delivery in the local communities
