Police discovers two beheaded bodies in Gomba

Residents of Kawula village Kisozi parish in Gomba district this morning woke up in grief after unknown assailants beheaded two people and dumped their bodies along the road.

The deceased include Steven Kasibante 30, Yosefu Kalisa 33 all residents of the same area in Kabulasooke Sub County near cattle ranch of president Museveni .

Residents say they last saw the deceased in Kawula town where they were partying after selling their goats and are believed to have been killed between midnight and 2am.

Area LCI Chairperson Mohamed Sserwadda says the deceased were good residents who had no criminal records and decried the new wave of criminality in the area.

Sserwadda says one of the residents James Kakande was also recently attacked by unknown people who stole shs 5m from him after selling his cows.

Gomba district police commander Robert Kuzala also says that security has already commenced a hunt for the killers with help of sniffer dogs.

The two  bodies have been taken to Gombe hospital for postmortem report.
