Police in Mbale has deployed heavily to maintain law and order after residents in Bugema A and B threatened to disrupt on ongoing mayoral Elections.
A group of residents have pitched camp at polling stations and are suspected to be intimidating voters not to participate in the on going mayoral Elections after some of the residents claim they don’t want to be under the newly created Nauyo-Bugema Town Council.
Nauyo-Bugema Mayoral race is tight between renowned Radio presenter Emma Watundu (FDC) AND NRM’s Fred Masaba,Others in the race are two Independent candidates .
