The Government has warned religious leaders against misleading the public with what they call Holy water or food with the hope of healing them.
Justice and constitutional affairs minister Kahinda Otafire was speaking at the opening of the National symposium on intellectual property rights by universities and development institutions organized by the Uganda registration services Bureau.
Otafire says the information spread by a section of religious leaders is harmful to society because dangerous diseases like HIV can only be healed through scientific innovation .
