S.4 results out , females beat males at English

The Uganda National Examination Board has today released the S.4 examination results for the year 2016.

Female candidates performed better than males in English and Christian religious education, whereas their male counterparts performed better in all the other large entry subjects.

A total of 323276 candidates sat examination of these 157364 where USE beneficiaries.

The worst performed science subject was physics whereas CRE, Geography, Mathematics, Agriculture and Art showed improved performance at distinction grades.
