Rumors have been swarming Chris Rock lately, ever since he revealed during a comedy routine that he cheated on his ex-wife, Malaak Compton-Rock, with three different women.
Following this publicized confession, sources have since come forward alleging that one of the women he allegedly cheated on his wife with is none other than Scandal star Kerry Washington.
The rumors began swirling following a new cover story with Rolling Stone, with the report quoting that Rock said in a routine, “I was a piece of s**t,” while describing his marriage to his ex-wife. The magazine also added that the comedian “segues into his infidelities and gets disarmingly specific, describing three women: one famous, one semifamous and one a member of the retail class.”
Following this report, a source confided to Page Six, to identify the “famous” woman, claiming it was Washington.
“He was cheating on his wife with Kerry when they were filming [I Think I Love My Wife] about him, ironically, having fantasies of cheating on his wife,” the source claimed. “That went on for a while, for like six months, and she found out. There’s no gray area.”
According to speculation surrounding the alleged affair, it began around 2007, when Washington was engaged to actor David Moscow, with Rock reigniting the rumor following his recent Rolling Stone cover.
Reps for both Rock and Washington have not yet commented on the alleged affair.
Thanks to a hefty deal with Netflix, Chris Rock is making his return to stand-up after an eight-year absence.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming giant announced the $40 million deal on Thursday (Oct. 13). The deal comprises of two stand-up specials to air in 2017 as part of a soon-to-be-announced world tour. “Chris Rock is a beloved actor and director, and his remarkable stand-up makes him comic royalty,” Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement. “There is no one like him, and Netflix offers the global platform and creative freedom that will serve as a perfect home for someone with his incredible talent.”
Rock’s talents have treated him well. The Emmy award winner has brought significant numbers to HBO as part of a 20-year stint with the network for the iconic specials, Bigger & Blacker and Bring The Pain. The comedian has set a record with his Netflix deal, receiving the biggest pay day of his fellow comedy buds like Louis C.K, Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer.
The comedian has made a few guest appearances at comedy clubs over the years, with stand-up being a unique part of his critically acclaimed 2015 comedy, Top Five.
“I’m very excited to be working with Ted and Lisa and all the good people at Netflix. I can’t wait to get back on stage,” said Rock. The comedian is working with plenty of material. From the growing social tensions to the current election, Rock isn’t limited on potential material.
“Chris Rock [is my mentor], one hundred percent,” Hart told CNN Wednesday at the New York premiere of his new comedy tour film “What Now?” “Rock’s advice is always great. It’s always spot on.”
Hart said Rock taught him to make his comedy “universal.”
“I think that’s why in any tour you see, you see me touring the world telling jokes,” Hart said. “I don’t just stay in one spot or do one thing. I’m gone, all the time, every day, all day.”
Another big influence on Hart’s life, was his mother, Nancy Hart, who died in 2007 after battling cancer.
“My biggest mentor is my angel, it’s my mother … rest in peace,” Hart said. “[She] basically taught me everything I know, especially when it comes to persistence, believing in yourself and thinking that you can do whatever it is you put your mind to.”

Comedian Anne Kansiime took on her Facebook to express her disappointment in whoever is planning to sell the National theater.
In the Video Kansiime shares that she watched the News on NTV Uganda that the Uganda Cultural center commonly known to many has the National theater was going to be sold to a person that she suspects is not Ugandan.
“As if the culture in this country is not eroded enough, you want to sell the National theater? “- Anne Kansiime
Kansiime expresses disappointment in most of the video that she is prompted to express the feeling in her mother tongue (Rukiga).
The clip that starts with the comedian confessing that she is excited about her newly acquired office at the National theater.
She continues and urges Government to be shy about this move. She has asked fellow artists to arise and save the National theater.
” Manya selling the National theater is you waking up in the morning, the head of the house and you want to sell the door and you sell the rights of admitting people in your house” – Anne Kansiime
She explains that she is not complaining because her office is housed at the theater but because of the iconic importance of the theater to Uganda especially the entertainment industry.
We’re not sure when Kevin Hart and Eniko Parish became relationship goals, but they’ve held down the title (along with Bey and Jay, Will and Jada and any other couple who takes a cute Instagram photo with the Juno filter) for sometime now.
However the comedian and his longtime girlfriend elevated from just goals to husband and wife when they jumped the broom in a gorgeous Santa Barbara ceremony Saturday. (August 13)
In front of 200 friends and family, Parish stunned in a lace Vera Wang gown while her hubby looked dapper in a black tuxedo. The guest list included Ludacris and Trey Songz who acted as groomsmen for the big day, while Hart’s son Hendrix fulfilled his duties as the best man.
During Eniko’s birthday party back in August 2014, the Ride Along star popped the question. In a recent interview the 37 year old actor gushed about his then fiancee.
“I honestly can say that I’m lucky enough to have an amazing woman,” he said. “I’m looking forward to getting married. We got seven years under our belt, been engaged for two. It’s time.”
Kevin Hart might be moving on, and fans won’t be too pleased.
The comedian said Wednesday at Las Vegas’ CinemaCon that he might be done with stand-up comedy forever, according to Variety. “I don’t know if I’m ever going to go out and do it again,” Hart told theater owners, adding that his What Now? adventure was “my last f–king tour.”
Fans have taken solace in the fact that What Now? is the subject of his upcoming stand-up movie, Kevin Hart: What Now?, so if you didn’t get a chance to see him live, you’ll be able to see him on the big screen—a place Hart has become quite familiar with given his success in the Ride Along franchise and Get Hard. The upcoming movie features Hart in the middle of his world tour and ends with his sold-out show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
He was the first comedian to sell out an entire NFL field. His tour ended April 1 with a final performance in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Footage of his upcoming movie was played at the Las Vegas convention, the highlight of which was Hart parodying Denzel Washington’s character in The Equalizer. Rather than use a corkscrew to take down Russian gangsters, Hart opted for a wine opener and wound up doused in blood. The preview was aired after people got a good look at the latest Jason Bourne installment.
“I say that is pretty good,” Hart quipped, “but mine is better.”
Although he kept the funny going from start to finish, whether he was joking about Jason Bourne or entering the presentation like a famous boxer, Hart also turned on serious mode for a moment, telling the audience that he is onboard the laughter-is-the-best-medicine mantra.
“I believe that laughter heals all wounds,” he said. “It’s a goal of mine to make people understand the power of laughter…I’m that person that you can laugh at.”
Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have decided to call off their divorce, and while that’s good news for their marriage, it’s also apparently good fodder for comedians like Chris Rock.
Rock raised eyebrows on Thursday night when he tweeted out a joke about the state of Odom and Kardashian’s relationship, saying, “Here’s to Lamar Odom on being the first guy in history to have coke and hookers save his marriage.” He also tweeted out his support for Odom, who is still hospitalized, adding, “Stay strong Lamar.”
The response to the joke has been mixed, with some saying that it is “too soon” to be making jokes, as it was only last week that Odom was discovered unconscious in a Nevada brothel. But others seem to like the joke, even if they are a bit uncomfortable.
“@chrisrock Not sure if I should consider this inappropriate or hail you as a goddamn genius,” said one Twitter user.
“We laughed, We favorited but we won’t retweet…sooo messed up LOL,” said another.
