Proprietors of higher institutions of learning are still facing a big challenge with the perception of digital education by the general public.
Professor Evad Maniple who is also a vice chancellor of virtual University shared this while speaking to journalists at Serena Hotel, Kampala .
He says for the six years of the university’s operation in Uganda, it has not been easy to convince the public to embrace digital education, yet technology is the way to go.
He noted that the general public still doubts whether they can obtain genuine academic papers when attending virtual classes.
Professor also advised the traditional universities in Uganda to have some courses that can be learnt via virtual classes as a kick-start to embrace technology in education system .
