Turkish Government pledges to help individuals with start up projects

The Turkish Government has pledged to extend financial assistance to individuals and groups of people who would need to start up projects.

The Chairperson Dr.Muhammed Kiggundu Turkey Friendship Association of Uganda Dr Mohammed Kiggundu says that the Government will scrutinize all the proposals to ensure that they deal with genuine people who are to start up projects to develop the county.

The sectors which are targeted include Agriculture, Education and small scale enterprises with the aim of boosting their performance.

Those interested in the funding will table their proposals through the turkey friendship association who will evaluate them and extend the genuine ones to the funders.

Dr Kiggundu noted that they are looking for people who will be able to make projects that will develop the country.

In 2016   the Turkish president   Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited the country and promised to collaborate with Uganda to fight terrorism which is the main enemy of the region.
