Vying for Sheema North parliamentary seat starts today

Electoral commission today starts the nomination aspiring candidate vying for the Sheema north parliamentary seat.

The Sheema north constituency parliamentary seat fall vacant following the resignation of the former member of parliament Erioda Tumwesigye who relinquished it in favor of municipality.

The two days nomination exercise is to be held at Sheema district headquarters.

Jotham Taremwa the spokesperson electoral commission says six aspiring candidate s have expressed interest.

According to the program the campaign meetings will start on Friday this week to 6th of October 2018 a head of polls set for 8th October.
