Three people have been killed by a mob in the central district of Sembambule . The deceased have been identified as Henry Mutesasira Vicent Ssekatawa and Tom Kabira all residents of Kanywamazi village in Rwebitakuli sub county.
The Officer in Charge of Matete police station Mohamed Nsubuga says residents mistook the deceased and 2 others who suffered serious physical injuries for thieves have been terrorizing the area.
The incident happened at Bugenge village this morning. He has cautioned the public against taking the law in their hands.
