A 30 year old painter has pleaded guilty to sodomizing his neighbors 11 year old son and consequently handed an 11 year jail sentence .
The convict is identified as Herbert Kiiza.
He has been convicted on his own plea by Kampala high court judge Jane Francis Abodo.
After accepting the offense of sodomy, the judge sentenced him to 11 years and 10 days in Luzira prison.
He is said to have committed the offense between on the 22nd of February 2016 and 22nd October 2017 in Kyebando Katale Zone in Kawempe division Kampala district.
The child was discovered by his teacher who realized that the child was walking uncomfortable and when she checked him, she discovered that the miner was using clothes to cover himself to stop leaking from his anus.
He later confided in the teacher and revealed that the convict was sodomizing him leading to his arrest.
