321 IMMIGRATION OFFICERS PASSED OUT YESTERDAY

The inspector General of police Gen Kale Kayihura has asked the immigration and citizenship control department to become part of joint operation center if they are to find common solution towards fighting cross boarder crime in Uganda.

While speaking during the 1st pass out of 321 immigration officers at the marine brigade headquarters at Wantembo barracks in Bulisa district.

Kayihura said the Diso help sister security organs to have common solution to criminality in e region and the country.

He explains that some of these crimes are organized in syndicated manner and therefore consulted efforts needed to create long lasting impact.

The director of citizenship in immigration control Saga Wazira said the department now has 700 immigration officers the  number he said is law that required to man all boarder point.
