Makerere appointment board suspended Dr. Stella Nyanzi.
In a press release dated 22nd April 2016,
"Following the unfortunate incident of stripping by Dr. Stella Nyanzi a staff at MISR, the appointments board has held a meeting and considered the situation as well as the report f a committee set up by the Vice chancellor. The board resolved as follows;
- To suspend Dr. Stella Nyanzi from University service with immediate effect pending investigations."
Dr. Stella Nyanzi on Monday stripped at her office premises claiming she had been locked out unlawfully. She hulled vulgarities directed to her boss, head of MISR, Professor Muhamood .
This has since caused an uproar on Uganda's social media, local and international media.
