Police in Luwero district is investigating the circumstances under which angry residents of Busuula trading center in Katikamu Sub County lynched a man.
The man identified as Denis Male was killed by a mob that also burnt his car after knocking dead a four year old and injured four other people.
Lameck Kigozi the police spokesman Savana region has identified the deceased girl as Marjorine Nabbona, adding that the injured are receiving treatment at Njovu healthy center in Wobulenzi.
Edward Lutwama the LC chairman for Busuula village told police that Male had a misunderstanding with the parents of the girl he knocked dead because they accusing him of having shrine in area .
