Parents should sensitize their children on HIV/AIDS - Mc Kats

The popular Ugandan MC Katamba Edwin commonly also known as MC Kats has said that parents have focused on preventing their children from contracting Covid-19  and abandoned advising them on how they can prevent themselves from contracting HIV.

The King of the Mic added that this is such a  dangerous move to the lives of the young generation since HIV is not curable adding that the same efforts parents are using to ensure that their children don’t contract COVID-19, it’s the same efforts they should use to make sure that children are given proper advise on how to avoid getting infected with HIV.

He noted that those children are so redundant due to school closure, they are at a high risk of engaging in sexual activities therefore should consider monitoring their children.

However, Kats revealed that amidst the lockdown most of the people living with HIV have missed taking their medication due to many challenges such as lack of what to eat, not being counselors to strengthen them among others.

MC Kats revealed that he is HIV positive in 2019 noting that all his children are HIV negative.
