Nicki Minaj’s Co-op Live Arena show was  postponed following her arrest at Amsterdam’s  Schiphol Airport.

According to the Dutch Police,Minaj was arrested on suspicion of exporting soft drugs  before being fined and allowed to continue her journey.

Though she was released , the American rapper didn't make it to Manchester in time for her concert on Saturday 25th/5/2024, which was postponed as about 20,000 fans were in the arena waiting for her to take the stage a move that left the star’s fans angry after the gig  was called off at the last minute 

Dutch police said a woman, 41, was arrested after allegedly trying to take soft drugs from Schiphol Airport to another country. An update from the force at around 9;00pm stated that it had released the “suspect and she can now move on”.

Earlier in the day, the American rapper  live streamed being arrested as well as claiming that police found drugs in her luggage after her items were checked by customs.

She wrote that “they found weed” and her security “already advised them” that items belong to them, and not her.

The Tour promoter for the show “Live Nation” released a statement confirming the changes   . “Nicki Minaj’s scheduled performance at Manchester’s Co-op Live on Saturday 25th May has been postponed. Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled performance which will be announced ‘’.

It further stated that “Despite Nicki’s best efforts to explore every possible avenue to make tonight’s show happen, the events of today have made it impossible. We are deeply disappointed by the inconvenience this has caused. More information will be available at your point of purchase.”
