Tanzania’s Bongo Star search launched in Uganda

Tanzania’s leading talent competition Bongo Star search has been launched in Uganda.
The talent campaign that aims at providing a platform for aspiring artists to showcase their skills and achieve their dreams started in Tanzania 14 years ago is now headed to Uganda.
Speaking at the launch of the initiative, Ritah Paulsen the Chief Executive Officer for BenchMark 360 ,the Producer of the show notes that the auditions for Uganda Bongo Star Search will take place on the 23rd-24th /November/ 2024 at Kati Kati Africa Restaurant.
“We chose to cross to Uganda to make the show more competitive , I believe this country has great talent”, Ritah said,
The campaign will be held in partnership with Ugandan Musical stars and StarTimes Uganda,Aldrine Nsubuga the Vice President for StarTimes expressed joy over the collaboration.
“This is a big opportunity for Ugandans as it will help them improve on their musical skills ",Nsubuga stated.
The grand finale of this 15th edition that will see Uganda feature for the first time is set to be held in Dares Salaam on 28th/February/2025
