PRESIDENT MUSEVENI SOCIAL MEDIA CRITIC CASE SUSPENDED BY COURT

Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court has suspended the trial of President Museveni social media critic Mr. Robert Shaka until the disposal of a petition on the Computer Misuse Act, upon which the charges against him are based.
Chief Magistrate Jamson Karemani rule says the outcome of the petition has a bearing on the current proceeding against Mr Shaka.
The petitioner, Andrew Karamagi argues that Section 25of the Computer misuse Act 2 of 2011 is inconsistent with Article 29(1) (a) of the constitution and is a nullity.
