Museveni says the NRM has been a mission oriented organization from the very start, in the 1960s, as a student Movement, coalescing out of the old political Parties: the Democratic Party (DP), the Uganda Peoples Congress (UPC) and the Kabaka Yekka (KY).

Addressing the members of parliament durin the on going budget reading at Victoria Hall at Serena, the president said he has re-read his book: “Sowing the Mustard Seed” to ensure that there are no mistakes of fact or punctuation.

Museveni is pleased that there is an accurate record of the events of the recent history of Uganda.  He noted that all the major events Uganda has come through and those its underlying are captured. The president advises those who are interested to grab a copy of his book (Mustard Seed) for more facts.
