Police have advised school administrators to always review  security and emergency preparations they have in place to handle cases accidents and emergencies  as school open for the first term which started today.

Fred Enanga the police spokesperson has also cautioned   school heads and matrons, nurses to examine the health status of student reporting for first  term especially boarding students to see whether they have bodily and  physical damages as a result of violence by criminal suspects or guardians, and should report this matter to police for further management.

He also cautions  school heads and matrons, nurses to examine the health status of every student especially boarding students to see whether they have bodily and  physical damages as a result of violence by criminal suspects or guardians.

He again appeals to the bursars to have a secret place where parents who have school fees issues can be attended to rather than handling them in open spaces which psychologically affects the performance of the pupils as it can also be a way of torturing by bullying at school.

On the issue of traffic, Fred Enanga encourages parents not to leave their children outside school premises when they drop them, and those moving on motorcycles should have helmets.

He urges pupils who are day scholars not to use feeder roads which may be dangerous to them as strangers may use the same routes to kidnap them while others may be victims of other crimes.
