Wakiso District Governor stops fight against two flower farms.

Bwanika has been quoted in the media on several occasions claiming that the companies mistreat their workers. He has also wrongly claimed that the companies have been encroaching on Lake Victoria and destroying the environment
In a twist of events, Bwanika says he has never heard about any complaints from workers and never has he heard about environmental problems
Lwanga was speaking from Namulanda in Entebbe where the company chief executive Director Rajiv Ruparelia gave out household items including mattresses to the workers.
Rajiv said the company intends to expand its operations which will benefit the workers and Uganda's economy
"This means we are creating more jobs and Uganda is getting more foreign exchange and as the market grows abroad we will expand our operations which will increase more earnings to the company and the economy at large" Rajiv said
Rosebud ltd is the leading flower exporter in Uganda providing employment to many Ugandans on its different farms.
According to Ruparelia, both Premier roses and Rosebud have exported 120 million roses this year and next year they're targeting to export 150 million roses.
