Bobi Wine said he was at the presser against his doctor and family’s wish as he is still undergoing treatment. He added that what is most important is that he is alive and under going treatment.
He made it clear that he wasn’t presenting himself as a victim but rather he is showing resilience.  He does not underestimate the support the world showed him during this time.
The Ugandan legislator told the press that the only contribution he would wish from the world at large is to help the oppressed as opposed to supporting the oppressor.
He commends the Rubaga hospital medics for treating them professionally but also prays that the Uganda’s hospitals can regain their glory. He adds that Uganda has had functional hospitals before and we can still have them.
The opposition legislator stated that this fight is not about him or about Museveni but it is about the everyday Ugandans who want to live peacefully in their country.
