Philippe Grouiex is new Total EP Uganda General Manager

Philippe Groueix has been unveiled as the new Total Energies, Uganda’s   new General Manager.

The seasoned  and  highly skilled oil and Gas professional brings with him  immense experience in in managing large multi discipline and multi-cultural teams in diverse environment.

One of his key responsibility is to bring the Lake Albert development to first oil by 2025.

Groueix has a strong background in field operations, projects and operations in Africa, Asia, and South America.

He worked in Denmark as the managing director of Total Energies EP, a large operating affiliate in the North Sea with and ongoing US$ 3 billion major redevelopment of Tyra field.

He occupied the same position in Bolivia and later became Executive vice president Total Energies EP Indonesia from November 2013  to December 2017.

Philippe is recognized for having successfully and safely managed large development projects associated to complex operations in Gabon, Indonesia, Denmark and Bolivia.
