Uganda to Host 2nd BNI East African Convention

13.1 million Business referrals worth  US Dollars 20.6 were made globally through Business Network International BNI.

 This is why it is imperative for Ugandan business owners to join the BNI  2023 East African convention to be held in Kampala this September .

 More than 300 business leaders will participate in the  convention   scheduled for  22nd September at Speke Resort Munyonyo  organised by the largest  business referral organization;  Business Network International-BNI.

Key speakers will include  Mr. Muraali Srinivansan, BNI Global Master trainer representing over 50,00 businesses in India ,  Mr. Bijay Shah the National Director BNI United Arab Emirates representing over 900 businesses in Dubai and Elizaphani  Muraguri, National Director of BNI Kenya representing  470 businesses in the neighboring Kenya 

 Diana Ninsiima Kibuuka the national director for BNI in Uganda says  the convention will provide a platform  for BNI members  from East Africa, Asia, Nigeria and the Middle East to learn from each other, grow their businesses  and also attract foreign businesses to invest in Uganda

“ We’ve been able to attract business into Uganda, and we have been able to enable Ugandan businesses to do business outside Uganda. We hosted a team from Dubai, and there were 15 businesses, they came to Kampala just before  the lock down in 2020. These businesses set up their entities in Uganda and they are operating” Mrs Kibuuka boasted of the international connections of their members.

 In Uganda, Kibuuka said “so far our members have closed business worth  100 billion shillings amongst themselves”.

Stella Nassali Mudoola a Director of X-Era Limite and a BNI member noted that participants will gain new skills and techniques on  how  to improve their businesses,  learn how to build stronger networks, and improve their sales skills

 Mark Karamira  BNI  Support Director revealed that through their weekly business meetings , BNI Uganda Chapte continuously helps business leaders[members]  to learn how to grow business.

Through business referrals, BNI he says helps businesses  spread their wings  beyond Uganda.

Karamira explained that plans are underway to expand BNI out of Kampala to other regions in East , West and Northern Uganda.

BNI   business platform  in Uganda , currently boasts of seven chapters  with more than 250 business members working together to refer business to each other.
