Britam Asset Managers, has introduced the Britam Easy Earner Dollar Fund, an investment product designed to offer stable returns and capital preservation through low-risk, USD-denominated assets.

The Easy Earner Dollar Fund focuses on interest-bearing assets, providing investors with a secure platform for stable growth and liquidity.

It is targeted at individuals and businesses seeking low-risk investments, especially those earning or transacting in US dollars or aiming to diversify their portfolios into dollar-based assets.

The product aims to offer competitive returns, making it an attractive option for those looking to safeguard their capital while maintaining quick access to their funds.

Speaking at the product launch, Ronald Kasolo, General Manager of Britam Asset Managers, highlighted the fund’s alignment with Britam’s mission to deliver innovative, secure investment solutions.

 “Britam Easy Earner Dollar offers both stability and growth, enabling investors to achieve their financial goals with confidence. This fund is particularly important in uncertain economic times, providing a safe investment alternative while minimizing risk,” Kasolo stated.

The new product is tailored to meet the needs of a diverse group of investors, from individuals with USD income or obligations to businesses seeking secure short-term investments. It is also expected to appeal to Ugandans in the diaspora, offering them a reliable means of investing in their home country while earning stable, dollar-based returns.

With tenures of 3, 6, and 12 months, the Britam Easy Earner Dollar Fund allows flexibility for varying liquidity needs. It requires a minimum initial investment of USD 5,000, with top-ups starting at USD 2,000.

Additionally, the fund is tax-exempt, further enhancing its appeal to both local and international investors.
