Candidate classes registration slated for 1st April

Uganda National examinations Board (UNEB) has set 1st April, 2019 up to 31st May, 2019 as the Normal period for registration for all Primary Leaving Examination, Uganda Certificate Education and Uganda Advanced Certificate Examinations candidates.

In a statement released and signed by the UNEB executive secretary Daniel Odongo, is indicating that the registration will be through the Electronic registration process.

The statement also shows the fees that each candidate must pay according to the examination level.

The registration fee for PLE candidate is shs 34,000 per head and late registration is shs 68,000

For UCE, registration fee is 164,000 and additional fee for shs 15,000 for each private candidate. For UACE, registration is shs 186,000 and additional fee for each private candidate is shs 18,000.

The late registration fee per candidate for UCE and UACE is 50% of the total registration fee and the late registration will start on 1st June, 2019 and close on 30th June, 2019.

According to Odongo, the UNEB general secretary all UPE, USE and universal post O-level Education and Training (UPOLET) Candidates are expected to register during the normal registration since the fees will be paid by the government of Uganda.
