Committee Chairman Abdu Kantuntu refuses to handover UBC land title

The Chairperson of the Parliamentary committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprise, Abdul Katuntu has refused to surrender the  controversial UBC land title of 23 acres of land in Bugolobi.  UBC management had requested the committee chair to return the title but Katuntu says that since his committee transacts business on behalf of parliament they cannot take a decision on their own.
Last week Margret  Muhanga through her  lawyer surrendered the title deed for the land in Bugolobi to the committee despite her earlier claim that she did not have it.  Muhanga got into the spotlight when she told the committee that  bought  land at 10 billion shillings  after she sold her goats chicken and cows.
