President Yoweri Museveni has asked Ugandans to develop a culture of writing and share their experiences through writing because when people die they are always remembered through their writing.

In a speech, Museveni says that this will end the dishonorable practice of many ideas and rich experience in the grave simply because many people did not write.

Museveni also said that the biggest achievement of the NRM Government is the restoration of monarchies and promised that Government will continue supporting them in their development endeavors, as a way of reviving cultural roots.

The message was carried in the speech read for him by the vice president Edward kiwanuka sekandi during a function where former youth central MP Patrick Nakabale unveiled his two books.

The two books launched today are entitled public-private appointment book and another one called Museveni Mukoozi.

The public-private appointment book reminds all managers, administrators and people in the private sector on their duty if Uganda is to achieve vision 2040, while Museveni Mukoozi talks about the relationship between Buganda kingdom and the NRM Government.
