Kampala City Awards to replace Kampala City Carnival

 Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Deputy spokesperson Robert Kalumba has revealed new plans to replace the Kampala City Carnival.  He said that they Authority will now introduce  Kampala City awards as a means of giving back to Ugandans.

Kalumba noted that  they will award best t.v personalities, t.v shows,  cleanest division among categories and it will be intended to appreciate every Ugandan but mostly those in the entertainment industry.

The Kampala City Carnival was the biggest street party  in East Africa  and was last held on 7th October 2017 .
