No nonsense Swangz Avenue singer Winfred Nakanwagi aka Winnie Nwagi promised to continue disciplining fans who keep disrespecting her on stage.
On February 2022, in a video clip that went viral, while putting on a skimpy pink outfit, Winnie Nwagi was seen almost slapping a fan who was trying to snap her private parts as she was performing her “Matala” song at Nexus Lounge.
On October 2018, Nwagi smashed a fan's phone who was trying to record her inappropriately as she was performing in London.
Nwagi said that as a musician she loves her fans but disrespecting her is not part of the package of entertaining them therefore they should know their limits.
She noted that the way fans want to protect their dignity is the same way artists want to. She stressed that she will discipline them in any possible way until they learn that artists are also human beings.
