Nyege Nyege festival returns with changes

Africa’s most adventurous festival Nyege Nyege returns this  September from the 15th to the 18th of 2022 after two years of lockdown.

Unlike the past years, the 2022 edition has come with several changes including the venue, it will be held at a new location, “Itanda Falls”.

According to its Co-Founder Derek Debru, it will be historic with fresh experiences, and a massive lineup of more than 300 artists from all over the world.

Debru noted that it will see an expanded version of the Spirit of Uganda stage showcasing music and culture from all corners, including food, crafts, music, and storytelling.

Aly Alibhai, the Talent Africa Chief Executive Officer who is also a partner to Debru added that they are looking forward to creating awesome event experiences at this year’s edition after two years of missing the event.
