Fire Base boss Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine is set to hold concerts to raise funds for Ugandans stuck in Arab countries.
According to the post he shared on his socials, concerts will be held on 8th October 2022 at Abu Hail Club Stadium in Dubai and the other one on 9th October 2022 at Villagio Hotel and Resort in Abu Dhabi.
He explained that there are many stranded Ugandans in Arab countries who want to come back but have no money to facilitate their travels.

In August 2022, the shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs, Muwada Nkunyingi revealed that close to 3,000 Ugandans were detained in Al Awir Prison in the United Arab Emirates.
He added that the majority of those in detention are facing charges of illegal stay the fact that they entered the UAE on a visit visa.
