2022/23 Miss Tourism Beauty Pageant was won by Sidney Nabulya Kavuma from the Buganda region tourism cluster.
Among the 30 contestants from different tourism clusters that took part, Consolata Moru from the Karamoja region emerged as the first-runner up and Denis Ayebare from the Kigezi region was the second runner-up.
Fashion was at its best as contestants showcased all types of designs on the runway at the grand finale at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday /23rd /September.
The contestants exhibited fashion based on climate change and also advocated for tourism at large. Some dressed in recycled plastics, polythene bags, bark cloth, animal skins, and bird feathers, while others wore gorilla masks.
