American actor Wendell Edward Pierce has confirmed rumors that he will be in Uganda in May.
The actor last stepped in Uganda over 25 years ago but according to the post he shared on his Twitter handle,he is set to be here for the second time.
Wendell didn't reveal much about his visit to Uganda however rumor has it that he will be here to attend this year’s (2023) Uganda Film Festival that will be held in May.
His first visit in Uganda was in 1998 during Ugandan-American actor, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine’s return to visit his parents.
Wendell's fans have shown excitement over his visit with many saying that they be will be glad to see their movie star.
Wendell Pierce who was born on 8th /December /1963 is an American actor and businessman. He first gained recognition portraying the role of Detective Bunk Moreland in the acclaimed HBO drama series The Wire from 2002 to 2008.
His roles in different series and films including Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Malcom X, Treme, Suits, Four, and Burning Cane, among many others have distinguished him as a prominent Actor over the years.
