The “Tweyagale ” hit maker is the only Ugandan in that category, he will be competing with Burna Boy and Tems from Nigeria, Diamond Platinumz from Tanzania and Willy Paul from Kenya.
This is the third time for Kenzo to be nominated in these awards, he was first nominated in 2014 in the category of “Best African Song/Entertainer,” the second nomination was in 2018 for “Best African Entertainer” which he won.
The awards ceremony will be held on 7th May 2023 in Kingston, Jamaica under the theme “Reggae Rise”. The awards will also be celebrating 40 years of existence. Below is the link that shows all the nominees.
