Unlike last year’s Awards ceremony involving shocking moments like Will Smith smacking Chris Rock on stage, the Academy Executives ensured such moments don’t happen this year.

There were lots of trends on the Oscar champagne carpet, artists were elegantly dressed which hipped the event for example Cate Blanchett wore a strong-shouldered sapphire velvet Louis Vuitton from the archive, Winnie Harlow wore a bright yellow Armani dress from 2005, Vanessa Hudgens wore a black and white vintage Chanel, to mention but a few.

The two divas  Lady Gaga and Rihanna also entertained the audience with their soaring voices Lady Gaga performed her ”Hold My Hand” well as Rihanna did her ”Lift Me Up”.
